The bible say's that GOD MAKES ALL THINGS NEW which of course is absolutely true but not always in the way we expect. On one of my trips back home to my Irish roots I came across this rather old, dilapidated farmhouse on a quiet country road miles from any noticeable civilization. There is a fantastic scripture in the New Testament that I believe is a key to a stress free life. In the Message bible translation it say's this, "Mat 11:29-30 Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. (30) Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." Jesus has made it possible for all of us to enjoy a peace- filled life and I am convinced that the secret is in learning and walking in the unforced rythms of His grace. It's a life that is free from worry, anxiety and stress with a step that is light and purposeful. Lord, could you help us all to live in the unforced rythms of your grace everyday.

For as long as I can remember I have always felt that life is supposed to be significant. As a young girl growing up in the midst of "the troubles" in Northern Ireland, most dreams for a significant life were lost in the day to day sadness and turmoil of a country at war. Then one day my life changed forever, I was introduced to the greatest man that ever lived; his name is Jesus! He began the gentle, grace-filled work of healing my hurts and transforming my life. He placed significance in my heart and I have made it my life mission to tell other young women that their lives are significant too. You can listed to a song that I wrote to help capture the search for significance that most people long for.
